    Background:

    Role Purpose: Ensuing effective and efficient grant management system including partner management

     

    Role & responsibilities (<5):

    • Hub review, monitoring and capacity building. Implement improvement suggestions evolving from various audits.
    • Partner NGO capacity building, reviewing with Hub Finance status of Partners financial performance monitoring on monthly basis, review and approval of RFFs for release of funds to PNGOs submitted by Hub Finance, Monitoring the FCRA compliances at Partners level through monitoring tool or otherwise.
    • Grant Management- dashboard highlighting project delays, grants overspent/ underspent, BVA analysis, grant closed status etc., tracking grant income and sending alerts to RM & AMS for payments follow ups with donors, ensuring grant wise reconciliation of receipts, expenditure incurred, ICR tallied with books of accounts, contribute in developing SOPs/ guidelines on grant management process from time to time.
    • Responsible for timely completion of grant audit with Nil audit observations
    • Ensuring correct accounting for grant expenditure in case of co funded/ match funded and URF funded grants
    • Monitoring and reporting- Work closely with HR to ensure correct allocation of salary cost to grants, validate the figures (Budget Vs spending) of top 10 grants and ensure timely submission to Core Accounting Lead after the monthly closure of accounts, Work closely with Hub Finance/ Hub Leads/ Project Offices for finalization of the States’ URF budgets during annual Organization Budgeting exercise.
    • Responsible for efficient utilization of grant funds , ensuring maximum possible project office’s cost to grants

    >8-10  years of relevant experience for CA/ ICWA and 12 years for MBA Finance/ M com / B. Com with 4 years of leadership experience of managing team

    NGO experience Preferable

    Skills & Knowledge

    Financial and budgetary control, project management, and securing and managing grants Interpersonal, communication, MS office skills

    Internal/Statutory audit experience
